Description
The KRIPAL 5 m Microstart Float Switch is a dependable, durable water-level controller built to automatically manage pumps or alert systems as water levels change in tanks, cisterns, or sumps. With a 5-metre cable and robust waterproof housing, it’s ideal for residential, agricultural or light-industrial water systems — from rainwater tanks and borehole setups to reservoirs and storage tanks.
This switch is designed to reliably start or stop a pump (or trigger alarms/valves) when water levels rise or fall beyond set thresholds. Its heavy-duty build and IP-rated waterproof design ensure long service life even in demanding conditions. A great choice if you’re installing or upgrading a water-level control system, or selling it as a ready-to-use accessory for water tanks, pumps, or borehole installations.
-
Cable Length: 5 metres — provides flexibility for tank depth or installation variety.
-
Switching Method: Mechanical float switch (automatically actuates as water level changes)
-
Rated Voltage: Up to 250 V AC (standard mains voltage)
-
Rated Current: Typically around 10 A–16 A (suitable for many domestic pumps, up to ~1.1 kW depending on wiring and pump load)
-
Protection / Water Resistance: Waterproof, submersible design — many similar float switches are rated IP68 for reliable use in water tanks/reservoirs.
-
Application / Use Cases: Automatic water-level management in clean-water tanks, boreholes, cisterns, sump pits, rainwater harvesting systems or reservoirs; automatic pump start/stop; overflow protection; dry-run protection.
-
Build / Durability: Waterproof housing, sealed internal switching chamber to guard against condensation or humidity — designed for long-term reliability and direct submersion.
-
Suitability: Clean water / non-aggressive liquids (standard float-switch applications) — not designed for contaminated/slurry water or harsh chemicals (unless specified). (Based on typical clean-water float-switch design)
