Description
The Hikvision 8-Channel CCTV Power Supply is a robust, efficient power hub designed to reliably power up to eight 12 V CCTV cameras or devices from a single unit — ideal for home, office, retail or light-industrial surveillance systems. With stable regulated 12 V output, multiple protections (over-current, short-circuit, over-voltage), and individually protected outputs, it ensures safe and consistent power delivery to all connected cameras, reducing risk of flicker, dropouts or damage. Compact and easy to mount, it’s perfect as a centralised PSU for CCTV installations or upgrades.
Whether you’re installing a new 8-camera setup or replacing a worn-out PSU, this unit offers a dependable “power base” for your security system — great for homeowners, installers, and small businesses alike.
-
Brand: Hikvision
-
Model / Type: 8-Channel CCTV Power Supply (often DS-2FA1205-C8)
-
Output Voltage: 12 V DC (regulated)
-
Output Current per Channel: 1 A per channel (max)
-
Total Output Current / Power: Up to 5 A total (≈ 60 W) for standard models.
-
Channels / Outputs: 8 individually protected DC outputs — each output is isolated, reducing risk that a single failure takes down the whole system.
-
Input Voltage: AC 150–285 V, 47–63 Hz (works with standard mains supplies)
-
Voltage Compensation: Supports adjustable output voltage for long cable runs (e.g. 12 VDC normal; can boost to ~13.5 VDC or ~15 VDC for long/ex-long runs) to compensate for voltage drop.
-
Protections: Over-current, short-circuit and over-voltage protection built-in.
-
Ripple & Noise: ≤ 0.15 Vp-p (150 mV p-p) — provides clean, stable DC power.
-
Connectors: AC input via C8 plug; DC output via grid terminal / DC plug terminals for cameras/devices.
-
Physical Dimensions: Approx. 144 mm × 109.5 mm × 33 mm (5.67″ × 4.31″ × 1.30″) — compact enough for wall, shelf or rack installation.
-
Operating Conditions: Suitable for typical indoor installation (ambient 0 °C to 40 °C, humidity 10–95% non-condensing)
-
Compatibility: Works with 12 V CCTV cameras (analog or 12 V devices), DVRs/NVRs and other 12 V accessories. Good for small to medium CCTV systems.
